Big Woods Enterprises started an aggressive consolidation strategy in April 2017 with the creation of VA Beach Express and the acquisition of seven routes in Virginia Beach. The consolidation strategy continued with additional acquisitions in Virginia Beach, new acquisitions in Richmond via Sabot Express and an expansion of service offerings with the purchase of a linehaul operation via Sabot Freight Services. From day one, it’s been our goal to become FedEx’s go-to delivery and line haul partner in Central Virginia. Our expansion to become the largest single P&D contractor in Virginia Beach and Richmond, the growth of the linehaul operation and the recent expansion into Newport News just goes to show what can be accomplished when a talented, dedicated team like ours drives toward the same goal.
