Corbitt Wright is the Director of Operations and the Chief Safety Officer for Big Woods Enterprises and its portfolio companies, including VA Beach Express, Marlin Express and Sabot Express. Corbitt brings more than fifteen years of experience to BWE starting as a FedEx contractor in 2005, where he doubled the number of delivery stops and built one of the largest pickup routes in terminal #235. He sold his company to VBE in April 2017 and stayed on in various capacities. Corbitt most recently served as the Operations Manager for VBE where he oversaw the day to day functions of a 40 truck fleet and successfully navigated the extraordinary growth of the operation through both acquisition and the surge in volume associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Corbitt, a graduate of James Madison University, is a Virginia Beach native who lives there with his wife and two daughters. He is a USA Swimming certified Stroke and Turn Official and officiates his daughter’s swim meets.
